From December 6 to December 10, the Klyazma recreation center near Moscow hosted a meeting of chief mechanics of oil refining and petrochemical enterprises in Russia and the CIS.

Representatives of the largest enterprises in the industry and service companies discussed the prospects for the production and use of competitive domestic equipment, as well as the experience of operating, upgrading and repairing technological equipment of foreign production. The branch of RUSINVEST LLC-TNPZ was presented at the meeting by Chief mechanic Konstantin Ignatiev.

In addition to productive communication with colleagues, the five-day meeting also brought very specific ideas that can be implemented at the Tyumen Oil Refinery. One of the most promising areas, according to Konstantin Ignatiev, is the reengineering of foreign equipment.

– Today, the potential of import substitution allows Russian companies to conduct a comprehensive reengineering of imported equipment, the supply of components for which requires serious financing and a long wait. After scanning and defecting the equipment on the spot, Russian manufacturers are ready to deliver exact copies of the original spare parts with a guarantee and replacement fund in a short time, " the chief mechanic of TNPZ summed up.
