Tyumen Region, Russian Federation — June 6, 2026. JSC Antipinsky Oil Refinery informs its partners, customers, government authorities, and the public that a localized fire occurred on June 6, 2026, at one of the refinery's processing units during routine technological operations.
The refinery's automated safety and emergency response systems functioned as designed, enabling the immediate implementation of established emergency protocols. Fire response teams promptly arrived at the scene and successfully contained the incident within the affected unit.
According to preliminary findings, the incident resulted from a disruption in the technological process at the purification section of the unit. A comprehensive technical investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause and to implement all necessary preventive measures.
The affected equipment has been isolated and taken out of service for inspection and restoration. No impact on adjacent production facilities or storage infrastructure has been identified. Refinery specialists are currently assessing the extent of equipment damage and preparing a recovery schedule.
