Refinery Achieves 1,000 Days Without Lost-Time Incident

JSC Antipinsky Oil Refinery has reached a significant safety milestone, recording 1,000 consecutive days without a lost-time incident (LTI). This achievement reflects the company's unwavering commitment to workplace safety and the effectiveness of its comprehensive occupational health and safety management system.

The milestone was achieved through a combination of rigorous safety protocols, continuous employee training programs, and proactive hazard identification and risk assessment practices. All refinery personnel, including contractors and visitors, are subject to strict safety procedures that exceed industry standard requirements.

The refinery's safety management system is certified to ISO 45001:2018 standards and undergoes regular third-party audits. Key elements include daily safety briefings, monthly emergency response drills, and a behavioral safety observation program that empowers all employees to identify and report potential hazards.

"Every person who enters our facility has the right to return home safely at the end of each day. This milestone proves that zero incidents is not just an aspiration — it is an achievable goal when safety is genuinely embedded in organizational culture," commented the Health, Safety & Environment Director.

Investment in safety technology has also contributed to the achievement. The refinery has deployed advanced gas detection systems, automated shutdown systems, and real-time monitoring equipment throughout its operations. A dedicated safety operations center provides 24/7 surveillance of all critical process areas.

The company plans to continue strengthening its safety culture through enhanced training programs, including virtual reality-based emergency response simulations and expanded contractor safety management initiatives.
