    Petroleum Coke

High-purity green and calcined petroleum coke from the Antipinsky ARDCU — produced under GOST 22898-78 with full traceability and global supply options.

    About

From Heavy Residuum to High-Value Carbon

Petroleum coke is the solid carbon-rich product yielded by the delayed coking of vacuum residue at the Antipinsky Atmospheric Residue Deep Conversion Unit (ARDCU). The unit cracks the heaviest fractions of crude oil into lighter distillates, leaving behind a porous, low-volatile carbon material that is in high demand across heavy industry.

We supply two grades. Green (raw) petroleum coke is the as-produced material, ideal for fuel and cement applications. Calcined petroleum coke is processed at 1,200–1,400 °C to remove residual moisture and volatiles, yielding the dense, low-sulfur anode-grade carbon required by aluminum smelters and graphite electrode producers.

All output is sampled, weighed and certified at the refinery before despatch by rail, road or sea, with independent third-party inspection available on request.

    ARDCU Project

    Atmospheric Residue Deep Conversion Unit

Commissioned in 2016, the ARDCU lifted the Antipinsky refinery to a Euro-5 product slate and added a fully enclosed petroleum coke handling complex engineered for the harsh Siberian climate.

    ARDCU coke handling conveyor system

Turnkey delayed coker unit (DCU) integrated with vacuum distillation, hydrocracking and sulphur recovery.

Enclosed coke storage hall with semi-gantry bucket-wheel reclaimer to minimise dust emissions.

Coke crusher, screening, and a network of belt conveyors feeding the train wagon loading station.

All mechanical handling equipment rated for an operating range of −50 °C to +38 °C.

Dust suppression, fire protection and continuous environmental monitoring built into the facility.

Coke handling equipment supplied and erected by TAIM WESER (Spain), 2016.

    Applications

    Where Our Coke Is Used

    Aluminum Anodes

Calcined coke is the principal raw material for prebaked anodes used in primary aluminum smelting.

    Steel Carburizer

Low-sulfur coke is added to electric-arc furnaces and ladles to control carbon content in steel.

    Cement Kilns

Green coke is a high-energy fuel for clinker production in modern dry-process cement plants.

    Power Generation

Used as solid fuel in fluidised-bed boilers, often blended with coal for utility power stations.

    Graphite Electrodes

Premium calcined needle coke supplies the graphite electrode industry for steelmaking.

    TiO₂ Production

High-purity calcined coke is used as a reductant in the chloride-route titanium dioxide process.
